Oh Boy!!! This had to have been the most awaited day at our house. Boston talked about this for weeks thinking each day it would come and he would finally be able to play soccer. He was even more excited to learn that the first game was on dad's birthday and Dad would be coming to watch!! I decided this year to only be the assistant coach, last year ended with Boston asking for someone else to be his coach. Well this year, when Boston found out that I wasn't his coach he wasn't too happy. He wanted me to be his coach after all. Well for me this has worked out, since Jason isn't always able to come I am able to watch Molly and help when the coach needs it. The even better thing is that there is another assistant coach for his team of 5 kids, so I am hardly needed. Boston has improved a ton from last year!! He is more focused and understands what he is doing better!! He seems to be quite the little scorer.

Here's him with his team and Coach.

Here he is in action! He likes to push and shove a little too much. We have had to have a talk with him.
And he gets it past everyone. I think he scores. Not sure I didn't take the pictures!

Boston practices getting past me. Yes, I let him get by despite my instincts .

Oh by the way, his team name is the the Grasshoppers.
This is one of the kids favorite parts! The parent tunnel. They get to run through it!! Here is Boston rounding the corner for another run through.
He loves it!!! In his second game he scored 5 goals!! He counted!! Way to go Boston!!!
